Poetry **Special Edition

Lauren Schmidt, editor of the new poetry journal, Long Dumb Voices, model’s

the poet, writer and world contributor to whom I aspire.

The second I read Long Dumb Voices Home Page and Mission Statement, I cried happy tears.

Finally, a poetic platform with a heart for the misunderstood. A journal encouraging writers descriptive documentation of social crevasses – a literary gift, individual packed ‘Super Glue’ filling up gaps; ‘filling up’ minds, bodies and souls.

I am grateful to Long Dumb Voices, Lauren Schmidt – a truth-teller of the highest order.

Lauren published two of my poems in the First Edition of Long Dumb Voices

can life get any better? Yes, of course, we write it so.

Thanks to Lauren, Long Dumb Voices and all the artists, contributors to the First Edition of Long Dumb Voices!

Sunday Poem~ Spoken Word -Warning Adult Language

Chris August – the first feature poet visiting LoserSlam on my first ever open-mic.

Chris has been the Individual spoken word champion twice. His emphatic, authentic heart is not worn on his sleeve, he embodies – love.

One of my favorite poets and people.

Wait for then end, you’ll be floored.

Photo archives celebrate Black History Month

What a unique platform to honor Black History Month. The Guardian pulled out never seen photos shedding new light on the past civil rights movement.

Fresh perspective through images and articles using reputable sources outshines expected platforms for Black History Month.

Enjoy!
